While crowds of tourists drive into town hoping to hit a great concert, event, or festival, Bend, Oregon residents have an entirely different dilemma: with so much to choose from, which events should we attend?

Bend Farmer’s Market – June 4 (and every Wed following through Oct. 10) – Downtown Bend – Free
Bringing together growers, producers, and the community with a variety of fresh, local foods and goods.
First Friday Art Walk – June 6 – Downtown Bend – Free Admission
Enjoy the work of local artists as you browse local stores while listening to various music offerings and even wine tastings.
The Butch’s Place Peak Summer Night Concerts – June 19, 5:30pm – Outdoors at the Athletic Club of Bend – $34
Enjoy the sounds of Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood in an intimate, outdoor setting. Childcare available through the Athletic Club of Bend for $20 (Ages 3 – 12).
Fermentation Celebration – June 19, 4 – 10pm – The Old Mill
As a precursor to craft beer month in July, the Old Mill is hosting a beer walk. Sample dozens of local craft brews at this event, in partnership with the Central Oregon Brewer’s Guild.
Free Sunday Summer Concert Series – June 22, 2:30 – 4:30 – Les Schwab Ampitheater – Free
Enjoy the Pacific Reggae sounds of Natural Vibrations, aka Natty Vibes.
Pickin’ & Paddlin’ Series – June 25, 4-9pm – Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe – $5 adults, 12 and under free
Enjoy food, beer, and music (brought to you by The Blackberry Bushes) while demo paddle gear alongside the Deschutes River. Proceeds benefit the Central Oregon Paddle Trail Alliance project such as the Colorado Whitewater Play Park.
Friday Night Live – June 27, 6 – 8pm – Caldera Springs
Enjoy the pop sounds of singer/songwriter Michael Lewis Marine.
Hullaballo – June 27 – Northwest Crossing neighborhood
This event, hosted by Northwest Crossing neighborhood, is celebration of community and includes a bike race, kid race, kid’s zone and activities, as well as food and music.
Soulshine Tour – June 28, 5pm – Les Schwab Ampitheater – $20-52
Enjoy a group yoga session followed by a music tour featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead.
Free Sunday Summer Concert Series – June 29, 2:30 – 4:30 – Les Schwab Ampitheater – Free
Enjoy Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter Randy McAllister who blends the styles of gospel, blues, country, Tex-Mex, rock and zydeco.
